"Tumba Y Quema' provided a very interesting listen, from the opening track, the chugging, bluesy "Ella, to the zouk-and-bachata-flavoured "Ahi E", and the punchy pop-sounding "Frio Martirio". About David Dely: Musician, composer, multi-instrumentalist, founder of Tumba y Quema. Since the beginning he has been distinguished by the unique stlyle of his composition and musical concepts. His experience, like his brother’s, starts within his family, in Millero Congo, as a percussionist and a specialist in traditional flutes. Later he would take part in several musical projects with many other musicians as well as folkloric, experimental and modern groups. Further more, he would also participate in mixed projects of theatre and musicalized audiovisuals. After moving to Hungary in the recent years, he is dedicated to compose, produce and play music for different types of productions and artists with divers styles both acoustic and electronic. www.tumbayquema.com About Shango Dely : Well-known Colombian percussionist, along his career he has participated in several projects. Among those, he has been a member of “La Provincia,” Carlos Vives’ band, Grammy award winner. He is also distinguished by his participation in the album “Shaman” of Carlos Santana. Shangó is also the musical producer and director of “Amame,” later, co-producer of “Talismán,” both musical releases of the re-known Colombian artist Leonor Dely, and both produced by KC Porter, famous multi-grammy award winning producer of Santana, Ricky Martín, Laura Pausini among others.
