A.Sanchez ,also known as Alex Escobar ,is a founding member of the Urban Latin Group ''The Effigy Sound''. They are considered as ‘’one of Montreal's best Hip Hop/Latin pop acts’’. In 2010, The Effigy Sound was crowned champion in the ‘’Show your skills’’ Urban talent event regrouping 44 acts. They also ranked 2nd according to the 2013 Emergenza Music Festival held in Montreal.The Effigy Sound was also highlighted at the International Music Conference in Cannes France MIDEM 2014
