We met at a Starbucks. She was working behind the counter, and I was incredibly tired and working a shift at Indigo Books attached the the cafe. I had just gotten home the night before from an across Canada tour, and had to work that morning. When I walked in, I immediately got nervous - I had never seen some so beautiful in my life. She was there with Starbucks cap pulled tightly on her head, with her glasses slightly falling down her nose, and she had the most gorgeous smile. She handed me the coffee and while I was putting in the milk and sugar, I forced myself to say something. "How long have you been working here?" "Just one week" she replied, "you?" And as I was about to reply and casually mention that I had just gotten home from my bad-ass tour, I knocked both the coffee's across the entire Starbucks. She handed me two more coffees, I put my head down and walked out. I told everyone that day I would marry the Starbucks girl. 6 years later we were married.
