SINGAPORE-BASED EDM PRODUCERS, RAVE REPUBLIC, RELEASES RADIO-FRIENDLY EDM-POP CROSSOVER SINGLE, “FAR AWAY”, AS THEIR FIRST MAJOR LABEL RELEASE December 3rd, 2015 - Rave Republic, one of Asia’s biggest DJ acts, will be releasing their highly-anticipated single, “Far Away (feat. Rosendale)” on all digital platforms tomorrow (Dec 4th). Being no strangers to the EDM circuit, Rave Republic has established themselves as one of the most in-demand DJ duos in Asia, and has now embarked on a new journey in releasing their first official single with Warner Music Singapore. The very catchy radio-friendly EDM-pop crossover single, “Far Away”, is a cheerful and hopeful track, as the duo firmly believes that everyone can choose their own destiny. When starting to compose “Far Away”, the duo were reflective over their own lives. They have come a long way since coming together as a DJ/Production duo and believe that a positive attitude is important. It is their hope that the song will bring warmth and joy to people listening to it. “Far Away” features singer-songwriter, Rosendale, on vocals. Built on the above inspiration but taking one step further, Rosensale explained, “Love is complex, wonderful, and sometimes fleeting, but at the end of the day it transports you to an emotional state that you can’t achieve through your regular life. The rush that I feel, in a sense, takes me ‘far away’ and allows me to forget about the worries of tomorrow.” Rave Republic has performed all over Australasia including Japan, China, Australia, Hong Kong, Chinese Taibei, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar & Philippines. They have also shared the stage alongside the greats including Alesso, LMFAO, Skrillex, Showtek, Lil’ Jon, Kaskade, Nicky Romero, Dash Berlin, Far East Movement and Martin Solveig. The single launch for “Far Away” will be held at one of Tokyo’s hottest nightclubs, ELE, tomorrow. About Rave Republic Rave Republic, who call Singapore home, is made up of Mathias Schell and Stas Madorski, is one of the most in-demand DJ duos based out of Asia, having played headliner slots at multiple music festivals and produced chart topping tracks. Their remix of Magic!’s hit song, “Rude”, was released in December last year and received coverage across leading music blogs such as EDM Tunes. Their first original release, “Ready for the Drop” hit #1 on Juno Download’s Progressive House Charts immediately after release.
