From the streets of the South Bronx hails two real Hip-Hop artists that don't spit for the OOHH's and AAHH's ,and they're known as Pan and Ei8ht.When interviewed Pan said, " I'm tired of turning on the radio and hearing these popcorn niggas with multi- million dollar deals." and Ei8ht on the other hand enjoys hearing these songsters and insist, "You need a little bit of cotton candy in the game so that you can recognize the realist." On a quest to save Hip- Hop these lyricists deliver to you Street Disciplez Entertainment. Because -Rap is something you do, Hip-Hop is something you live-,KRS One- these disciples truly believe in living it. At this moment, they are in the works of expanding four entities of their corporation by connecting with five other young African-American males. Under the umbrella of Street Disciplez Entertainment is the magazine C.R.A.Q.U.E ran by Face President of Marketing, the clothing line Belchez ran by Hollywood President of Fashion, and the record label Street Disciplez Records ran by Rumbz, Pan, and Ei8ht CEO's of S.D. Entertainment. The fourth entity is ran by Carlito G and DJ Karee better known as the Get Paid Crew. They have branched off into Street Disciplez Radio that airs Friday and Saturday night from 10pm to 2am in Virginia's 7 cities on 103 Jamz. Not to be confused with Nas' new release Streets Disciple these disciples have been in the streets spitting verses for over a combined twenty years. When asked how did he feel about the company's name being very similar to Nas' new album? Ei8ht said, "It's like we've been on reserve for years and we can't get an idea out to the public fast enough before it seems like someone else has a very similar idea." When asked how does that make him feel he replied, "I'm not worried about it. I'm just going to do what I do. If he has a problem with it we'll deal with it the best way we know how. Besides, its not like we're beat biting because in fact we came up with this name years ago." and from the words of Pan, " There's a difference between Streets Disciple and the Street Disciplez. Streets Disciple is one who follows the streets and the Street Disciplez are those who the streets follow." in continuance he states," No disrespect to Nas I grew up listening to him." They both believe that its time for artist to stop conforming to what's on the airways and to allow your heart to spit the sixteen bars. Recently they completed their album Purgatory. Pan addresses the album's title as a meaning to his career, his life, and his struggle as a Blackman. "Purgatory is a waiting period between heaven and hell. We've waited along time for this opportunity. I believe every man has experienced this, were they're stuck in a situation that could go either way, towards the good or the bad especially when your family is deprived of basic necessities." Ei8ht solely agrees however feels that, "It's a place of being. When we made this album I felt like we were so close to heaven but still felt hells fire. So much sh*t was going on around us like close friends being shot up and killed, baby mommy drama, electricity cut off, car accidents, car stolen, evictions, and the list goes on and on.' he also added that they did not come up with this name until after they wrote the album, "our life was and still is in Purgatory." Being that everything they went through was spit in the booth they couldn't do anything but give this album its respectable name.
