James Monro needs little introduction in the international electronic music scene. One of the pioneers of the underground electronic music scene in the UK, he has always been at the forefront in the development of new movements and new sounds. From the early days of Flying Rhino Records, through to future techno electronica label 4 Digital Audio, James's output has been ahead of the game, moving things forward and never sitting still. The Panama EP is an epic slab of deep shifty techno, with its addictive throbbing pulse and high quality production, the second Shifty Disko release is a journey through future techno sounds. The Kamikaze Space Programme Remix takes Panama and gives it some edge. The experimental techno project by Bristol based producer Chris Jarman focuses on futuristic synthesis techniques with a conceptual element influenced by textures, and all these qualities are brought to the remix of Panama.
