Deborah Levoy possesses a riveting stage presence that is as irresistible as her luscious voice. She radiates intelligence and a bare-bones intimacy. Her award-winning songs are always stirring and sometimes disturbing, drawing her audience into the lives of ordinary people: a homeless veteran, a trapeze artist who’s falling in love, a woman who defends herself from an abusive boyfriend, a lonely bride. Levoy has performed solo throughout the West coast and New England.
