After the release of "Only Human" and taking a hiatus from recording and performing, singer-songwriter Freddie Bourne was on a mission to create music based on a universal experience: the grief of when a loved one passes on and the aftermath. Bourne sat down during his time away from the public eye to write, play, and feel each and every word that he put to the paper. His feelings in music changed: Bourne's primary focus is to let listeners in and relate, not trying to please the mainstream media. With "I Wrote These Songs with Heavy Vibes and a Piano", Bourne presents an array of vocal and atmospheric sounds to create an experimental, unstructured, and uninhibited EP.
