"Never Going Back" is a blend of humor and heartache. This album creates a stark contrast, combining fully orchestrated tracks with raw, unplugged, deeply personal recordings. These lower tech tracks were recorded during some of the most difficult times in my life, and although it crossed my mind to create updated versions, I felt that these recordings best captured the emotion of what I was feeling in the moment. Sometimes it's not pretty when we're struggling, but it is in our most unlovely moments that the beauty of mercy and grace can really shine through. My prayer is that my "less than perfect" moments will meet you right where you're at, and give you assurance that you don't have to be perfect to be loved and valued!
