Axis Trax are proud to present the debut single from Bluebeat entitled 'Divine'. This has already had great support having featured on our WMC sampler and now with remixes from Rachel Ellektra, Tony Divino and Danny Pickering in tow should set it up as a firm summer anthem! Bluebeat are Moni VP, Askeladden and Hemlock and are the same team behind the 'Solidkiss' club nights which have now been running at venues such as Gallery, Ministry and Mass for the past few years. Their sound is varied and hard to tie to one genre (but we like that at Axis Trax!) and this release displays a driving, funky and uplifting groove with infusions of jazz and disco and Moni's 'loungesque' vocal floating beautifully over the top. The perfect sunshine groove for poolside parties and Ibiza sunsets! Remixes come from Rachel Ellektra. Rachel is currently busy with her latest project The Detroit Starrzz and writing new music with the likes of Colin Waterson and Angie Brown. Here she gives a solid house mix with subtle elements of tech and tribal in there. For those who are 'too cool for words' there is an instrumental too. ;-) Tony Divino, is building a massive rep at the moment with his amazing melodic tribal and tech grooves. He's currently running SP Trax, Phunksolution and Stereo Whore Records and never fails to deliver killer remixes. Once again here he brings his unique style to the table with a fabulous tribal mix with a dark edge to it! Part of the Dirty DJ's collective, Danny Pickering is a house DJ/producer with a-lot of talent! Here he serves up the final mix with a great club mix that strips down the original and give a deeper and moodier edge to it. Great for those late night sessions!
