" Sarah Carroll and Marcel Borrack sang to a hushed audience and emanated a definite Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings vibe. The comparison was complete as they harmonised closely on each other's songs and Borrack's guitar decorated the rhythm parts with rolling eighth note lines and tasty, chromatic touches. This was my first time seeing both players and I was struck by the strength of their material. With love and humour in their lyrics, their songs are engaging and warm. "
