简介
I developed my flows from a bunch of different artist, growing up I was a huge Micheal Jackson fan, and I use to listen to him over rap, but I couldn't sing or never learned how, so I learned from Scarface, Ice Cube, and Master P, as well as LL Cool J , and the late great Pimp C. My journey into hip-hop derived from my brother Prez-D, I loved Basketball more than rap, I thought most rappers were struggling with money, and I wanted to have money, so I put all my efforts into basketball, my brother got a nice check when he was younger acting in a movie, and then I said, "Oh entertainers make real cash!" I was always into theater and I use to freestyle all the time and Beat Box, but I never knew it would be my chosen career, until I got hurt at Sam Houston State and couldn't play Basketball anymore. I got into movie through the making of some of this album with Sean Blaze a well known Houston Producer, one day I said I want to shoot a music video and then next thing you know I was like, how do we shoot a movie and he helped make my dream possible! I consider myself of renaissance man, I love to dabble in different areas, so yes. Well I'm originally from Amarillo, Texas, but I have been in the Houston area half of my life, about 15 years, so DJ Screw and Scarface are very much apart of my inspiration, when I first moved down here, my accent was totally different, you can still tell, but back then you could really tell. People used to say you are very proper, I took allot of speech classes in High School, so I really worked on my speech for years. When I use to get into freestyle battles at Sam Houston State University all the rappers from Houston, had this different flow, it was slow, and they kept beating me, not because they where better, but because, we use to have big groups of people around like 30 people and they would use this slow Houston flow, and I would be rapping fast and they would say, "Frank from the East Coast, with that Biggie type flow", so over the years I studied the culture now I am the culture, I eat, drink and sleep, the same thing as every other rapper from Houston, so it shows now, but it's still a difference, I'm unique. Q-Stone who produced for Trae the Truth and Z-Ro, and Sean T a well known Bay Area Producer. On the album I am trying to really let people know life is gonna be okay! I really wanted to be positive and show people you can be a Hustler, but hustle for a cause. Houston, Texas Inspired me to make this album, that's why on the cover I have a Houston Oilers shirt on, this city has shown me so much love and respect, I'm doing this one for H-Town! I want to be able to put money back into the community of Houston, like I see the other rappers in Houston doing, I'm inspired by those who made it and gave back to the city. We touch on repping for the south and Houston, Texas on that song. As far as features I have E.S.G, K-Rino, like I said Big Pokey, Prez-D, Tailor and others. Frank has two movies out right now, "Rent-A-Car", which is doing great and is world wide, I'm really excited about that and another movie called "At All Cost", which is my first and the one the is closest to my heart. We are currently in production of a new movie called "Squatters" with my friend BET Comedian Shawn Harris, who is also in "Rent-A-Car", it should be a blast! As far as music, my last album is "My Way" which was done a while back.
