Stray Monroe is an indie rock band from San Diego, drawing influence from The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, and Kings of Leon. Stray Monroe released their first single, “Broken Records,” in November 2016, which featured a music video directed by Timmy Ornelas. Broken Records marked the bands first TV appearance, being featured on NBC SoundDiego’s Local Artist Spotlight. The band released the follow up single and music video, “Take It Fake It”, on March 7th. On March 21st, Stray Monroe released their first EP, “The Stray Monroe Show”. On April 9th, the band scored their first radio play on San Diego’s 91X Loudspeaker with their song, “Muddy Soles”. They are set to release a new single, “Happy Accidents”, in early September 2017 followed by a full EP later in the year.
