Art's first release features the anthem, "Be the Breath Within Me", which was chosen as the theme song for the 2006 Seattle Archdiocesan Junior High School Rally. His passion for intellectually stimulating music rings throughout this EP - a praise album that drifts around the Northwest's flair for Indie-Rock, focusing on simple arrangements with intricate rhythms and instrumental interplay. These songs yearn for the Lord in "This Day" and "Rain, Come Down", and praise Him in all his wonders in "A New Beginning" and "You Move Me". Art Leonard has been involved in music ministry since he was thirteen. He's been writing since before he could actually play piano. Currently he has written over 100 songs for contemporary worship. His music can be heard internationally on Dr. Tom Curran's show "Sound Insight" and "The Archbishop's Hour", both on Sacred Heart Radio. He regularly assists on keyboards and bass at events throughout the northwest United States with artists such as David Yakley, Angus McDonell, Sarah Hart, Steve Olson. Additionally, he's composed jingles and event music for businesses in Cleveland and Seattle. Art grew up in Ohio and currently lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife, son and daughter. He is currently leading the LIFE TEEN music ministry at St. Vincent de Paul parish in Federal Way.
