Raise it up is all about love, over coming struggles, forgiveness, empowerment, spirit, and community. It's a message that I am ready to share with the world. Music has the power to touch hearts and help people love themselves more. People who love themselves and feel empowered will carry that out into their communities, and that's how we change the world. On this new record I have explored not only lyrical, but musically as well. I have blended the sounds of folk, world music, electronica, R&B, rock, bluegrass an gospel into a work that truly creates a new sound for me.
