After many years of careful musical research and development Sly Goodridge has placed a stamp on a genre of music from his native land Trinidad and Tobago. Sly first entered the recording studio in 1978 as composer, arranger and producer of one of his many compositions. He was just a young man making a name for himself in the music industry and began impressing other musicians with his commercial intuition. A prolific song writer he has recorded and released six previous records and has written for other artists including: The Blue Ventures Band of Trinidad and Tobago, the late Ann Marie Innis who was dubbed the Soul Queen of Trinidad and Tobago and Nynus Sylva. Sly Goodridge wrote the theme song for Canadian based performer Elsworth James' Juno Award nominated Album entitled "Ah Gotta Go." Sly was co-songwriter with the late legendary television star Sherman Hemsley who played George Jefferson in the television sitcom "The Jeffersons."

Mr. Goodridge is presently President and CEO of The Goodridge Group Inc. with divisions DreamVizion Filmworks and DreamVizion Music. As a filmmaker and writer he is presently completing work on a romance novel and producing documentaries for future release. This multi-talented artist has worked in the entertainment industry for many years wearing many hats including: Lighting Director, Technical Director and Production Manager for theatrical venues and theater companies. He was a crew member for the 1980's hit television show "Miami Vice," and served as Union Department Head for both the 2004 and 2005 MTV Video Music Awards at the American Airlines Arena in Miami. In 2011 Sly worked on the blockbuster movie, "Step Up Revolution" which had its theatrical release in the summer of 2012. Within the past few years he has worked with Janet Jackson, Celine Dion, Sting, Lenny Kravitz, X-Factor; and most recently on the Comedy Central's South Beach Comedy Festival at the Fillmore at the Jackie Gleason Theater, (a Live Nation venue on Miami Beach) where he was a Department Head for two years. Sly has returned to the focal point of his many talents, (music) and it is apparent in this CD. He has many other compositions waiting to be released and this production only touches the surface of his genius.
