简介
Ginette Belanger Ginette Belanger, from Montreal, originally a professional dancer and dance-teacher, received a diploma in jazz dance from 'L'Ecole Superiore les Ballets Jazz', followed by a certificate in dance at the University of Montreal. This gradually evolved into a multi-dimensional artistic career. After many years of cinema acting, she was drawn back to singing, her first passion. Teaming up musically with her husband, the pianist Alex Gordon, she began performing jazz showcase concerts in many cities, including New York (Smalls, Caravan of dreams), London (Jazz after dark), Paris (La Villa). Residencies and workshops in Montreal followed (the Sarajevo, La Cine Lumiere, Les Minots). Relocating to the Little Italy area of Montreal, the two realized their dream by setting up Worldgig.com recording studio, such that a series of jazz cd releases then followed. Ginette's singing voice and vocal timbre has a uniquely rich and tranquil quality. Her effortless delivery is a delight to hear. The latest cd ('Cherokee' by Alex Gordon and Ginny B) is available to sample or purchase here at Cdbaby.com, plus many other outlets. ALEX GORDON Born in London, England, from Scottish descent, Alex's music stems from his awareness of people and their environment.
