Once in a while I go off by myself to see if I can find, the question that's been on my mind. Where did I come from, and where will I look for me? Did I come from God? or from the sea? And I feel that the time is near when the world will know why I'm here. This lyric is from Johnny Gamboa's re-mastered 1980 album that was released in Canada and parts of Europe. Now finally it is being released in the U.S. The theme of the album is a question that everyone on this earth has asked at one time or another. Who Am I? And where did I come from? Johnny's lyric doesn't suppose the answer...but the answer is somewhere hidden inside of every living soul on earth. 'See you soon', is a composition accepting the existence of a higher being but asking questions. 'It's Coming', is the human pschic of being affraid to pass on. Death is the word, no one wants to hear bout it, no one can esape, wake up cause it's coming for you. Of course there is the love side of this CD. 'Keep Me Won't you', and 'Be A Little Gentle''Anytime' are consumit melodies that bring memories and sorrows of past times.
