Some of these songs were written and recorded much earlier in The Sargenti’s career, but still hold up today and are much played on Maui radio. Steve and Kathy Sargenti have appeared in concert with the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Willy Nelson, Pat Simmons, Michael McDonald, Los Lobos, Norton Buffalo and Leo Kottke. In addition to their own recording projects, they have recorded both album and film score tracks with Kenny Loggins, Davis Grisman, Joe W**d, as well as many popular Hawaiian artists. They are featured performers at music festivals in the Hawaiian Islands and miraculously manage to make a living in the Hawaiian resort industry playing almost entirely original music. Their blend of great writing, vocals and world-class musicianship add up to a duo that shouldn't be missed.
