“Lost in Dreams”, comprises of new material composed in 2008 and features Googie’s use of different vocal characters, to which he has given names. This is an unusual practice for a singer but Googie feels his type of musical style requires a different approach, the voice is after all a musical instrument, which can create a variety of tones and expressions. This album features two of his vocal styles along with Googie’s more familiar vocal sound. Googie uses his normal singing voice for straight Pop and Blues type songs. Captain Zero (CZ) mostly tends to be of a political nature., tracks "How much Longer" and "Wasted". The use of SoSoSam (SSS) is more for social humour, tracks "Gimme some of That" and "Fast Forward".
