Winter Apple Recorded in Portland, Oregon in the fall of 2004, this record explores the loss of a marriage and the dark creaky-ness of the heart. Made with producer, percussionist, and friend Gavin Bowes, his offer to me to "record some of these songs, exactly how they are played at intimate gatherings" became this moody, autumnal folk offering.
