Shantel's love for music started at a young age and after learning guitar in high school she began writing songs instead of poetry in English class. Her very first cut was a song she wrote at age 17 which ended up being recorded by the Canadian duo "Sisters" and peaked to #2 on the "Made in Canada Country Countdown". Years later she has a stack of credits including numerous cuts on independent projects, several Tennessee Songwriter's Association International awards and radio airplay as a writer and an artist in Canada, Europe and the USA.
