Island Girl was written by Johnny Sandoval and his cousin Michael Sena who's music studio got ruined by the devastating flood waters of Kauai, Hawaii. Island Girl is a mix between a Hawaiian Hula and a Caribbean Ballad. With the Rhythmic Ukelele of Michael Sena, rich soulful vocal harmonies of Darryl Walker, and awesome Trombone playing of James McMillen, Johnny Sandoval added his Drums, Guitar, and Steel Pan to make his arrangement complete.
