Darjeeling presents Sandtravellers After the official debut album “Deers of dreams” in 2008, Darjeeling present their second album “Trav’ling (free ticket) on their independent label Darjeelingjazzrecords. Producers formation Darjeeling consists of two composers: E.R Ritfeld and D.van Meel. Darjeeling sees the album as an adventure in which they keep in contact with the experiment. A free ticket for a distant journey to various atmospheres, landscape, stories, words, and thoughts. Rhythm and poetry are recurring elements in the songs. On the album stands 15 songs with a dynamic fusion of and jazzy-pop, bluezy-funk and bossa-reggaesoul. The songs are entirely their own work. The songs range from easy listening to dance floor shakers Darjeeling formation is established in 2001 in Rotterdam , they have worked with international and national artists in productions and in tours with; Lee Perry(the wailers, Jamaica), Eek a Mouse(Jamaica), George Adomako(Ghana), Aston Barret(the wailers, Jamaica), Mykal Rose(black Uhuru, Jamaica), Omar Ka (Senegal), Postmen(NL),Postman(NL), Anouk(NL), Rotterdam Ska Jazz Foundation(NL) and more. Under the name \"Sand Travellers '(Darjeeling presents Sand Travellers), they introduce a band formation and remix projects (from 2009). Sandtravellers (band) consists of basist, drummer, guitarist, keyboardist, vocals, and perform at divers festivals like: North Sea Jazz round town, Duke town festival (band) , Meer jazzfestival, Filmfestivals and in clubs etc. Releases Darjeeling(alias Sandtravellers); 2001 Production of musical \"The key to the garden\" is based on the same picture book \"The key of the garden\" (written and illustrated by D. van Meel) 2003 Unofficial release 4 flies (lyrics, vocal, Darjeeling) 4 lux label in collaboration with DJ Gerd / P.
