Patrick's Head perform monthly at World Café Live to sold-out audiences in Philadelphia and randomly at other venues around the city. They have just released their 3rd and strongest CD, "Traditional Gentlemen Of The Road". Though Patrick's Head are still independent, this new CD has opened many doors for them, receiving radio play, prompting interest and offers from small labels. John Byrne's Irish accent, Irish humor, and Irish storytelling talents come through on many of these tracks, backed by 2 solid guitarists, Patrick Mansfield and Scott Wikander (both American). The trio has a reputation of high-energy concerts and has built up a loyal following in their home base of Philadelphia. Their influences are quite polar, pulling from traditional Irish and American Folk with one hand, and Hendrix and Punk with the other. And it works.
