Instead of posting a carefully drafted bio written in the third person, I think it would be more fitting just to tell you a little bit about myself and my music, and hope that you dont need all that fancy stuff! I’m 25 years old and I’m London through and through. The music all started with my Dad. One day, when I was a teenager he decided to teach me some chords on his guitar. Later on, I then swiftly captured the guitar and stole it away to my bedroom, here proceeding to make up chords that were absolutely rubbish, as I had no theoretical training or idea of what I was doing….however, this seemed to work out pretty well, so I have kept this method alive! Still no technical training, but a more in depth knowledge of where my hands seem to make the guitar sound good! So after the guitar stealing episode, the story continues…. I began to take vocal lessons while I was at school, however I didn’t really like the teacher….then one day we had a substitute teacher (always the best kind!!!) and he was much more fun, so i took up private lessons with Mr Richard Smart who was an opera singer. I guess that was a great bonus as he taught me the importance of power behind the vocals. I then met fellow musicians Scouting For Girls at a local venue where my band were supporting them. After the show, Roy Stride announced he would like to produce our songs, and the very first record was born!! Fast forward a couple of years and I have a few songs in the bag, have managed to stop playing those bad made up chords, and have got myself a few singing lessons with the successful powerhouse that is Stevie Lange. Stevie took me under her wing and recorded those few songs I had stashed in the bag, and soon after, I was jetted off to Norway to work with the very talented DSign team. Over the following few years I kept stepping slowly up the ladder and finally got to LA to work with the highly acclaimed Marshall Altman and Galtline Studios and then back to London to record with legendary producer Stuart Epps. Along the way I managed to achieve a place in the top 4 singer songwriters in the country at the Festival4Stars Championships where I performed for Robin Gibb. Following this I made it to the Grand National Final of UK Live and Unsigned where I performed in front of several thousand people on the Indigo stage at the 02 Arena in London, and won myself a gig supporting Sandi Thom. I have recently recorded in Tenerife with Cormack who were a fantastic team, and I am now very lucky to have an incredible manager, David Polemeni who organised my second trip to the LA music scene in the summer of 2012. I am miles beyond privileged to have worked with such talented industry wizards at this stage in my career. The only thing i ask of you, the listener is this….
