In the summer of 2008, Delso was handpicked by the members of Coldplay to open for the sold out Wachovia Center show of their “Viva La Vida” world tour. Immediately after, Delso put hours into the studio, while helping to score his first feature length film "Exit 117" directed by Kevin McMullin. Songs From A Movie is a result of releasing the music from the film, all re-recorded and re-mastered for independent release. Engineered and mixed by Mike Smedes, drums performed by Josh Stark on select tracks, and mastering by Ryan Schwabe. In Songs From A Movie, Jonah's writing and arrangements are nested in pop roots with nostalgic, soulful lyrics.
