CD version released by Tallgirl in 2001. This was the first album Chapman recorded after her three Epic albums, and the first she co-produced. From a historical standpoint, TAKE IT ON HOME was the last album recorded in Columbia Studio B, aka the Quonset Hut, where so many great country hits originated. "We knew we were standing on sacred ground," Chapman says. "CBS (now Sony/ATV) wanted more office space. I remember there were workmen dismantling the walls while we doing the final mix!"
