Pop songs written by 9 year old singer/songwriter, Victoria Matthews, performed on piano and guitar. "Warrior" was written on the school bus coming home after being bullied in 3rd grade. Victoria will be featured in a television profile on NBC Golf Channel in April 2015 as she heads to Augusta Masters as a national finalist in the Drive Chip & Putt televised competition on April 5, 2015. Through her "Sing & Swing for No Kid Bullied" benefit concerts, Victoria has raised awareness and influenced young kids of the negative effects of bullying. Victoria is an accomplished golfer, tennis player and ballerina. She has won 11 Tour Player of the Year trophies, has competed since age 6 at the U.S. Kids Golf World Championships at Pinehurst, European Championships in Scotland and many other national and regional tournaments across the U.S. She is also a top 20 USTA ranked tennis player and has performed at The Kennedy Center and The Warner Theatre with The Washington School of Ballet. Music has given her a form of expression as she navigates the ups and downs of competitive athletics and coming of age.
