简介
Born in Bristol - England, SHEDD moved to the US in 1993 and has been developing and honing his song writing skills while performing in bands since the early 90s. The name 'SHEDD' stems from a nickname that was picked by his then 6 year old niece (Emma). Mispronouncing his real name (Rich) ’Richard", she would call him 'Uncle Wood-Shed' and the name 'SHEDD' stuck like glue. After taking several years off from performing and recording, SHEDD started several businesses, including a successful CD Duplication and Audio Mastering company. He rediscovered his passion for music in 2004 and built a recording studio to begin writing and recording his own material. SHEDD has previously toured with bands in Europe and recorded and worked in several high profile recording studios in the US. SHEDD was a guitar player in former band “Fat Tuesday” which achieved popular success in the Boston area music scene and toured the Northeast and California several times. This is what GRAMMY award winning producer Duane Hitchings recently had to say about the SHEDD’s upcoming single “The gift”. “You kick a** !!!! Beatles – that’s the ticket - that’s THE starter THEN kick it. I see a movement if young up and comers write good songs that either touch the heart or kick your a** the way us "old guys" did it!! VERY GOOD. Keep in touch.” - Duane Hitchings SHEDD is currently exploring avenues for distribution, management / representation.
