Xpression of Xoxo has always been one of my favorite songs. Written back in the mid 90's I've always envisioned it on a music platform that would render the attention it deserves, well that day has come! Xpression of Xoxo produced by Award winning producers Derek Clark and Anson Dawkins has elements of neo-soul, pop, urban gospel and a new sound yet to be named. With additional musical flare by another award winning producer, one of the world's greatest bassist, Mr. Andrew Gouche'. His contribution took the song to another level of greatness (thanks Gouche'). Lawrence Jones guitarist for the famed Fred Hammond, his smokin hot, tastefully smooth licks makes you wanna dance with someone you love! And let's give the drummer some! Holding the beat down and staying in the pocket local Northwest favorite James Gales . Words cannot express my gratitude for the amazing work my producer Derek Clark put in to this project. A highly sought after producer/engineer/songwriter from both secular and gospel national artist is an relentless professional. His spirit of amazing went into every second of XoX the results merits Grammy, Stellar, Soul Train and BET attention. And of course Anson Dawkins of the famed gospel duo Dawkins and Dawkins. Definitely one of the industries masters of lead and background vocals creation. His ability to hear vocals, slick hooks and arrange them to fit is impeccable nothing short of amazing. The opportunity to have worked with him on this level was a beautiful experience. Now as for me the writer and vocalist of this amazing song I am honored to have worked with these guys and I look forward to doing more! Bamazing!
