My name is Shawn Gunter. I have spent the majority of my life with a relentless passion for everything music. I recently lost my job and spent some time unemployed. I made a choice to not get another job, so that I could pursue my dreams, regardless of the risks. I began working full-time on my passion. I wrote, recorded, edited, and mastered, a six song ep all on my own. It took hundreds and hundred of hours, and the hardest part of it all, was finding a quiet place to record, after I had to move out of my house. Somehow, through the support of my friends, and with the help of family, I was able to complete the most important part of my project. The album was finished. However, being self-employed, with no immediate form of income, I ran out of money, and wasn't able to complete the last step of my project. Everything, including album art, cd art, and even song order is entirely completed, and all I have left to do is pay for it. After looking at my bank account, it was no longer a possibility and I worried my dream would have to be postponed while I got another job, and raised enough money to pay for the album. I created a Kickstarter to raise funds to order cds, and pay for the digital distribution(putting it onto hundreds of music download websites, including Google Play, iTunes, and Amazon) of the album. My fans and many great friends came through, and my album is now available. I can't wait to keep pursuing my dream career and show the world what else I can do.
