Wayne Bennett (Brentwood Slim) was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL.

He discovered a love for the arts, at an early age, acting in plays as well as playing drums in church. After graduating high school he attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where he earned a B.F.A. in acting. He has always had an eager passion for music, and his training has enhanced his ability to speak from his heart. Whether it's a love song, or a party anthem. Something up-beat or a ballet. He encourages everyone around him to "make sure it's jammin"!
