This music is a collaboration between two friends from rather different musical backgrounds, one jazz and the other blues and rock. Together they generate an idiosyncratic style that, while defying easy categorisation, is engaging, appealing and accessible. David Harvey (soprano saxophone and flute) and Thomas Barnes (guitar and vocals) are joined on these original songs by Jonathan Harvey (bass), Sophie Alloway (drums) and Joe Davison (keyboards). Barnes & Harvey would like to thank the AuburnJam recording studio in London for helping to turn their musical ideas into a hugely satisfying recording.
