On the evening of December 29, 2012 four musicians convened at Jack Straw Productions in Seattle, Washington to perform an hour of spontaneously improvised music for a future broadcast on KEXP 90.3 FM's "Sonarchy Radio" show & podcast. There was no discussion about the music before the recording commenced at 8:00pm PST. The participants were from Boise and Seattle, so the group’s name (BoiSea Collective) was as impromptu as the music itself. This recording represents a moment in time with sounds, rhythms and musical combinations never to meet at the same place again.
