简介
The label Electronical Reeds starts the year 2011 strongly with a third release that show its musical openness. After two releases oscillating between Ethnic House and Tech House from the Belgian duo Optional Feast, the Franco-Belgian label purpose a release oriented Deep Techno - Minimal Techno and thus puts two new Brussels-based talents to honor, Mezza Luna and Felix Cage. With this new release, the label has selected once again a selection of choice remixers with the presence of the Franco-Japanese Tokyo Black Star and the Belgian Pole Folder and Lex Newton. Mezza Luna and Felix Cage offer a journey in the depth of the sounds with Blizzard. Between a powerful kick and hypnotic omnipresent melody on a background of violins, they embark the dancefloor in their universe. The break increases with the arrival of complementary layers to give a denser atmosphere. This track mixes depth and energy and we can merge that under the designation 'Deep Techno'. Tokyo Black Star, composed by Alex From Tokyo and Isao Kumano, has deeply marked the soul with their EP Caballero release in December 2009. They revisit the original track completely to create a remix resolutely Dub. With a powerful and melodic baseline and the addition of very typed synths, this rework reminds more of their production on Sonar Kollektiv or Innervisions. The Belgian Pole Folder was recently demonstrated with the huge success of his title Motel on his own imprint Reworck. He offers a more progressive and captivating remix that attracts the attention to the outset with a deep layer that cedes its place to a simple but efficient kick where synths and percussion mingle throughout the track. The EP is close d by the remix from the Brussels-based Lex Newton. The powerful kick mixed with dominating melody of strings and cello, take its full extend during the break. So this remix takes its strength from its absolutely hypnotic and poignant breaks, its captivating layers, its pronounced rhythm and its groovy tones.
