Juiette Z. Payne Music is a collective of skilled and gifted creators of music and art whose mission is to express the heart of God through creation. Band leader, Juiette Z. Payne, is a Chicago native with a heart for God and the arts. Juiette has over 15 years of musical experience. With humble beginnings in the youth choir at the age of 12, Juiette became the lead singer, bassist, and songwriter of a band called Ordained By Christ in 2006. The group disbanded in 2010, but Juiette continued to push the songs that were birthed in the process. Thereafter, he formed what would be known as Juiette Z. Payne Music. The band has released 2 singles and an EP, Their first single "Hold On" was released January 2013. The song was written from a perspective that emphasizes how the adversities of this world can distracts us from the One who in fact overcame the world. But the concluding message is to “Just hold on.” After a successful Kickstarter campaign in April of 2013, Juiette Z. Payne Music recorded and released an EP entitled "Eternal Dance." The album paints the fantasy of entering into the King's courts and the dynamics that such an experience would entail! Musical styles such as contemporary gospel, r&b, funk and rock, are used to paint this picture. In 2015, after a year of promoting the EP and touring Chicago music venues, the band set off to run another Kickstarter campaign. This time, to raise funds for their full length album. "Who Am I?" released fall of 2016.
