I recorded this album on the full moons of June and August 2013 in New Orleans at Fudge and Bogalusa LA at Studio in the Country. A couple of the tracks August Afternoon and Hermit of the Hidden Beach were recorded on the front porch of my cabin in south Mississippi. Ferd Moyse of the Hackensaw Boys plays fiddle on Mississippi Country Girl, Guard your Heart and Fiddlers Green. Doug Belote played the drums and David Hyde played bass. My lovely daughter Anna helped out with backup vocals and I recorded with my trusty '37 Epiphone archtop and '76 Les Paul. The record was mixed by Trina Shoemaker.
