This song is about Stella. She is just one of many sad stories of orphaned children being sold in countries like Moldova. At age 16 these children can no longer stay in the orphanages, they are given approximately $40 and sent back to the town listed as their place of birth on their birth certificate. The sex traffickers offer them jobs but they are drugged and sold. This now larger world wide than the drug trade.

When I heard their story I knew I had to write about it and try and help. I was working with artist Kristi Blankenship and asked her to do the vocal. Scott Hoffmann on guitars, bass, drums. Tim Crouch on violins, cello, mandolin. George Holcomb on Double bass.
