Out of the Sky is George Robinson's fourth solo guitar release. As with his prior releases, the 10 instrumental pieces on this CD explore a range of meditative moods. This release realizes a broader soundscape, and brings a greater presence of guitar-generated synthesizer backgrounds and basses than found on his three prior CD's. All tracks are solo guitar performances produced by routing the guitar signal to multiple guitar modelers, converters and synthesizers in parallel. The total playing time is 45:17. George Robinson is based in the Portland, Oregon area. He performs his music on a hybrid, nylon string instrument.
