Pete Roberts, bassist for Purple Haze, has released a solo single titled ‘(I Want To Be A) Rock Star’, available for purchase at (web address). Pete plays all the instruments and sings this story about someone who loves music and wants to live the ‘rock star’ life. It fits into the ‘Power Pop’ style of music, and hints of some of Pete’s favorite power pop bands (Fountains of Wayne, Weezer, Owsley).
