Michael Merriex also known as Mic-G was born and raised in the small town of High Springs, FL. At the age of 10 he discovered that he had a gift for rapping. He grew up listening to the Geto Boys,Tupac, and RAKIM, who he feels is one of the best that ever did it. That was when he realized how powerful words could be. Mic-G spent the last 13 years perfecting his gift and was determined to make a name for himself in the music industry. He touches on all subjects when he gets in the booth by making politically concise music as well as street anthems. If he says it on a rhyme, he's either done it or seen it happen. Mic-G is about to be one of the biggest MC's the South has seen in a long time. When asked what he wishes to give the rap game, his answer is simply stated "the reality of this Life Of Mine."
