Music for Machines is Spectacles’ second EP, a fierce little collection of songs for the concrete-saturated modern environment. Music for Machines is inspired by the world of now, and as loud and driving as the record sounds, it only leaves a bare hint of the real of a Spectacles live show. The first 5 tracks form the Music for Machines EP proper: Music for Machines, Open Letters, Middle of the City, Fire is a Word and We are at War. The last 5 tracks are bonus tracks from Spectacles' debut EP Ghost Town: Ghost Town, Silent Song, Higher Places, Love / Hate and Take Sides.
