As rubyrough began to put songs together for their sophomore album, CHAOS, they discovered that they had an "almost schizophrenic collection of songs." So they decided to feature each ‘personality’ by releasing similar songs together on separate EP’s. Consistent with their other-worldly style, they decided to name each EP after a mythical creature.

PHANTOM is the third EP in rubyrough's CHAOS collection.
