"We're four emo kids in a metal band writing punk music with conviction." At the end of the day, we've got a few reasons why we do what we do.. First, we love music. Each of us grew up listening to various forms of metal, punk, rock, hardcore and whatnot. Our goals when starting this band in 2015 was to form a band that really took aspects of all the things we like in the heavy metal sound and blend it into one crazy, original new sound. Secondly, we want to impact our friends, fans and our city (Edmonton, AB, Canada) in a positive way. A huge driving force in our band is the work we do with charity. In 2016 we almost exclusively played #BOYEG events and donated our earnings to the various causes that BOYEG supports. Some examples of charities we've helped raise money for are Zoe's Animal Rescue, Edmonton Humane Society, YESS, YRAP among others. Thirdly, we have a huge desire in our lives and in our own way to travel the world, hear our music being played by others, writing songs people enjoy listening to and feel good about supporting. There's not a lot out there that get's you pumped like building a career from the ground up in this industry. These are all huge reasons as to why we push through the negativity and the naysayers to keep doing what we do.
