Blacklight Musikwork's, Guitarist/Producer/Singer-Songwriter Michael "Moon" Reuben has worked & performed with such greats as Bernie Worrell & The Woo Warriors, George Clinton, Buckethead, Dawn Silva & The Brides Of Funkenstein, Leela James, EPMD, Kid Capri, Tavares, Jackie Montrel, Ambrosia, Kip Winger, Exscape, Queen Latifah, Left Eye, Shock-G, Michelle Ndegeocello, Jaco Pastoriuos, Jeannie Bryson, Scarlett Blue Band, Tony Rich Project, A Few Good Men, Nefretitti, Dennis Chambers & Stanley Jordan and many more. Moon has toured the world and has performed at some of the most famous venues & festivals including his favorites, "The North Sea Jazz Festivals", The Smoke Club NYC, The Knitting Factory, Wetlands, The Howlin Wolf Club, Woodstock "99" & San Francisco's Fillmore West Theatre. Moon is currently working w/ his Funk/Blues/Urban Alternative band "RedHouse" w/bassist Donna Macpherson, keyboardist Arne Wendt & Lance Carter on drums(Sonny Sharrock & Cassandra Wilson). Moon also works with many other bands & production projects such as, Live At Instant Kofee Comedy & Poetry, produced by Bob Sumner (Def Jam Comedy & Bad Boys Of Comedy) & Bill Smith. The show is hosted by, "Hamburger" & Shelter Records Club artist, "Ambrosia". Bands such as P-Funk protege's "FUNKIN", "Hotpants Funk Sextet", "LT Brown & Contagious", "The Chops Horns & Band" created by saxophonist Darryl Dixon & Dave Watson known for their work w/Alicia Keyes, The Police, The Rolling Stones, Keiysha Coles & The Sugar Hill Horns. Moon also has written & produced two songs "Scrapple & Grits" & "Still N.Y.C." for The Chops Horns & Band sophmore album, entitled "Blowout" as well as guitarist & vocalist for the band. Moon is also currently working on material for his future solo album projects for his "Blacklight Musikworks Production", as well as for other artist & producers such as Commissioner Gordon, Tim Shider, Leela James & R&B Blues legend Lee Fields respectively. Moon has 25 years music experience under his belt, specializing in a menagerie of styles ranging from R&B/Funk/ Hip-Hop/Blues to Urban-Alternative/Rock & Jazz-Fusion all taken very passionately.
