Mikey Jarrett Jamaican born, Brooklyn bred DeeJay Mikey Jarrett is a reggae legend. As A&R man for the famed Channel One recording studio, he provided artists such as Lone Ranger and others the opportunity to make their first records. His own first 45 “Ku Bly Klan” cut in New York in 1974 for the famous Bullwackies label was a hit, and now commands high prices on the collector’s market. More tracks followed that same year for the Pantomime and other labels. His 1980 track Sadat for NYC’s celebrated reggae imprint Jah Life, was another hit now also prized by vinyl collectors. In 1983 he was crowned King of The Dancehall at a now storied soundclash in Brooklyn organized by WBAI radio and attended by close friends and reggae icons Dillinger, Lone Ranger, and Carl Bradshaw. In 1986 he appeared in an amzing performance in the Reggae in New York film documentary about Bullwackie. After running his own dancehall oriented imprints 24Karat and What’s Up Doc? through the 80s and 90s and scoring hits with a who’s who of dancehall reggae artists from the era, he topped the Billboard charts in 1991 with the Bobby Konders produced hip hop/ragga anthem “Mac Daddy”. P-Dub P-Dub is a New York City based artist who has developed a unique brand of contemporary music fusing Hip Hop and RnB with Pop and Reggae elements.
Since 2005, P-Dub and his group Predator Dub Assassins have released 6 full length albums: "Predator Dub Assassins" (2005), “The Hardest” (2007), “East Coast Dub Cartel Volume One” (2008), ”Fully Qualified” (2009), P-Dub’s solo debut “Frontline” (2010) and "Last Band Standing" (2012). As a singer, songwriter, and producer, P-Dub has worked with a diverse range of artists including: Akon,Twista, Trina, Sean Kingston, FloRida, Collie Buddz, Dipset/The Diplomats, Pharoahe Monch, French Montana, Jadakiss, Three 6 Mafia, Paul Wall, Buju Banton, Maxi Priest, Wayne Wonder, Juicy J, Ace Hood and others. Rupert Reid From Kingston Jamaica, Rupert Reid's career spans 40 years. He has written and recorded classic roots anthems like Chant Down Babylon with 70s reggae legend Junior Byles, See The Dread Deh, and Africa Must Be Free for iconic reggae labels such as Arawak, Ja- Man, and Lee Perry's Upsetter imprint. Soundboy Soundboy hails from Washington DC. As a vocalist, Soundboy fronted several reggae bands in the DC area before finding his calling in Jamaican soundsystem culture. He has since forged a DJ influenced style to round out his other varied influences. Soundboy continues to record and perform his unique brand of dancehall infused roots all around the US. Roy Radics U.K. Born artist Roy Radics has been a deeply involved member of NYC's vibrant reggae community for almost two decades. Known both as a solo artist and band frontman, Roy Radics has performed with a long list of international reggae stars both on stage and in studio. He is also the vocalist of longtime favorite New York ska/reggae band The Rudie Crew. Johnny Walker Johnny Walker is a veteran of NYC's 90's dancehall scene. As a youth in Jamaica, Johnny used to walk miles over red dirt roads to reach town where he could hear the legendary soundsytems play. This is how he got his name. Always ready to take up the mic, he emigrated to the US in the 1970s and when dancehall history was being made in NYC in the 1980s and 90s, Johnny Walker was there. He still is.
