Several of his pieces are featured on the electronica compilations The Future Sound of Montreal 1, 2 and 3. One of his pieces, « A Gigantic Spacecraft», even figured on top of Luxuriamusic.com’s top ten, an internet radio based in San Francisco, in June 2004. With his solo album, Oncle bijoux, you will find the essence of his own style: imagination, colourful orchestrations, certainly groovy and humoristic, but above all, a cinematographic feeling. Oncle Bijoux was nominated best electro album 2006 at ADISQ, and Gentil Phoque in the TOP TEN songs of 2006 by Montreal's LA PRESSE. Monsieur Max will release his second album soon: Ida & Gaspara www.idagaspara.com Monsieur Max's Guests: Muriel de Zangroniz (voice on: Le Quai, Gentil Phoque, Faust) www.toxiquetrottoir.com Kim Zombik (voice on Loin de L'amour) www.kimzombik.com Danette MacKay (voice on Busy Day, Happier) Anik Gagnon (voice on Shining Orchid) Anik Beaudoin (violin on Stampede, Château de Barbebleue and Oncle Bijoux)
