The written composition is rather special, since it is a 7 bars version with simple basic chords. According to the author of the lyrics he likes the music and thinks it is one you will not forget. The text is sad when it stands alone. I do not think it needs to be sad because that's life and nobody knows what awaits us so we might as well make the best of it.
