I have been songwriting and playing the guitar since I was in my early teens. I grew up in an atmosphere which encouraged the musical appreciation of many styles which has influenced my songwriting.I occasionally play at small venues working with my bass player Scott Tait. In the past I have played with a variety of bands. The new CD Nowheresville is comprised of talented musicians from the Twin Cities. The musicians performing on the CD are; Scott Tait-Bass guitar and vocals, Tim Ellis-Drums, Terry Miller-Keyboard,Brad Heck-Lead guitar, and yours truly-guitar,vocals and composer. The CD was recorded at Spanish Castle Studio and engineered by Tony Hernandez.

I currently have a number of songs with publishing contracts and have had songs recorded by Jack Greene, Robin Lynn,Kimberely Glover, and most recently Danielle Marcus.I wrote two songs on her CD(In My Eyes) the first is Track #4 Can't Get Enough of You and the second song is track #8 That's All I Wanna Know. Danielle Marcus is Adult Contemporary and is available on Rhapsody, Napster, and iTunes. The CD was produced by Dean Tomich, and orchestra arrangements by Ed Goldfarb. The record label is Minotaur Records and was released in March.

I have memberships with the Nashville Songwriters Association International and the Tennessee Songwriters Association International. I’ve been nominated twice by the TSAI in the category of ‘Best Songwriter of the Year.’

In April of 2008 I won first place for Songwriting in the ’Best Country Song’category(the song is Catfish Crawl) at the First Annual Talent Expo held in Tuscumbia, Alabama. The judging panel included some prominent songwriters including Earl “Peanutt” Montgomery.
